The benchmark thus sets out the security, technical and ethical requirements that service providers will have to meet in order to be authorised by the health insurance to use the Carte Vitale application as an electronic identification means for insured persons. The benchmark therefore provides recommendations for service providers wishing to implement remote authentication for users of the Carte Vitale app.
