The Regulation lays down technical conditions to be met by fire-fighting vehicles. The draft assumes that the vehicle meets technical conditions set out in regulations on special vehicles and vehicles used for special purposes issued pursuant to Article 66(7) of the Road Traffic Act of 20 June 1997. If the vehicle exceeds the bodywork conditions specified by the base vehicle manufacturer, a national individual vehicle approval certificate or an EU individual vehicle approval certificate is required.
