Hungary Bologna sausage (“párizsi”)
(Amended) product specification for bologna sausage under the national quality scheme of High Quality Food (KMÉ)
The product specification in the High Quality Food (KMÉ) national quality scheme for bologna sausage, previously notified under number 2021/488/HU, has been amended. Under the heading “Optional elements” in the Specific Certification Requirements, more precisely under sub-heading “II. Sustainability”, new points have been formulated for sustainability, significantly expanding the range of optional elements. Furthermore, following the notified amendment of the Codex Alimentarius Hungaricus in its regulation on meat products, a lower limit for total protein content has been added to the quality requirements.
